Ebook Product Review
Posing & Moore Guide by Michelle Moore
Good Tips
Being able to read about how she works with the client and her equipment was great to hear about. I need to practice my walking shots and directing a walking series (a series of photos she has down beautifully). I tried at my last senior session and I wasn't very successful, but I'll keep on trying it and perfecting it till I can get it right to where it looks natural and good. Some great tips were given and I do plan to continually reread it and I do feel that I will grasp more and more from the book increasing its value to me over time.
Side Notes
With each photo she had a little side note talking about her setting for the camera as well as a little note about how she worked with the client to get that photo
Photos
Wow she does amazing work, her photos are gorgeous. Wonderful even lighting and such natural comfortable poses that make the seniors look like seasoned models.
Chapters
The book is broken down into all the essential chapters providing great information with each chapter subject.
What I Didn't Like
The Price
I purchased the book on a sale Michelle was running, she had it marked down from $149 to $119 to finally $70, which is what I bought the ebook at. A month later she had it one sale for her birthday even lower marked to $30, I wish I would have waited, but I couldn't have known she would mark it down even lower. For the dollar value that I bought it at and the new information that I gained from Posing & Moore Guide it wasn't worth $70 for me personally. I would more value it at the $30 range for myself. But I also understand she is giving some of her trade secrets.
Not Much New Information
I have read, researched, listen and watched a fairly good amount of photography related information from technical, artistic to business. Much of the information was a lot of great repeated information I've heard from Kirk Volcan's CreativeLive broadcast on Senior Photography, Lindsay Adler's CreativeLive broadcast on Posing 101 and many other photographer's blog sites (which I will start making a collection and post them at at a later date). Many of the tips and information weren't knew to me, but good reminders none the less.
Overall Feelings
Being completely honest...Yes I was disappointment when I first read it, the second time I reading it I found a tip to work on. I will be to rereading it again and see what next tip I want to play with and keep in mind while shooting my next session. I'm still working with this book to get the value for myself, but as she does state 'this isn't going to make you amazing over night'. Overall with the information and tips in the book, I think it does have good value, my personal justification still needs to be met.

Well that is my two cents on my ebook purchase. As a side note, I have written many books reviews (on fun fiction reads though) here at Kristina's World of Books so reviewing books I've read is nothing new. I personally like writing my reviews just stating what I like and don't like about things and keep it emotion free with no bashing involved. I think that everyone is going to take different things away from their reads and I won't ever state "don't buy a book" because I firmly believe what I may not like another person may love.
