A little while back I donated a mini session to my local Covington/Maple Valley Babywearing group (BWISPS-South King County Babywearing Chatter) for a raffle to raise funds to add carriers to the lending library. We actually meet before a babywearing meeting at Lake Wilderness Park and took this little mommy and me session. Of course since she is a babywearing mom we had to do a few babywearing photos. He is a very serious little guy, but mom managed to get some adorable smiles for me to capture! A fun little session and we got some great photos of mom and son together.

I got to do another babywearing session and wow this wrap is gorgeous! It is called Ferideh Garden of the Gods, it is a handwoven and hand painted wrap! And we also got in some lovely nurse wearing photos too. Photos were taken at Lake Wilderness Arboretum on a pretty warm the evening. WOW! Just look at those colors!
I'm so late on blogging about this session that I took a few weeks ago, with being pregnant, dealing with a toddler and getting stuff ready for my sisters bridal shower I've been so busy and tired that I haven't done much else. On a gorgeous but chilly morning I took this maternity session of my friend and her little growing family at Lake Wilderness Arboretum. The session was a little challenging, little Saya wasn't the happiest, but we still got some adorable smiles from her and this gorgeous family. I can't wait for the next session when little baby "Kiwi" comes into this world.
On this beautiful day I was able to photograph this gorgeous Woven Wings Geo tester, both Wynter (the official tester) and Kelsy, both wanted in on the wearing and photographing action. We photographed at Lake Wilderness Arboretum. Toddler and baby snuggles make wearing so amazing and with a gorgeous wrap like this it is the cherry on top! Look good while snuggling with your adorable baby, all around win!
Erin's maternity session ended up being on beautiful clear day, it was really chilly out in the shade, but so perfect! The session was taken at Lake Wilderness Arboretum and we also went to the backside of the lodge to be right on the lake. We had a lot of fun throughout the whole session and I even captured a few laughs of this excited nervous couple expecting their first baby boy. This was a wonderful and fun maternity session. It ended up being timed perfectly because less than 2 weeks after the end of this session baby Will decided he was ready to come early and be in mom and dads arms.
I photographed a session for Kelsy and the Kokoskaa Daydream wrap she is testing for the company. We went to Lake Wilderness Arboretum and walked around the trails having fun take photos. This wrap is gorgeous, but so is this family! Having a toddler and a baby makes wrapping so necessary, it is great to be able to be hands free but holding a baby while still being able to interact with the other sibling. That is part of what I also wanted to capture, the convenience the wrapping for families. The wrap did take a little trip home with me, I had another fun staging session to do with the wrap and Christmas lights. This was a fun day, thankfully the weather held out for us and rain didn't visit us during our little session.
The Sterling family was so much fun to photograph, we all were laughing and having a great time throughout the whole session. The morning was cold, but they were all good sports about it. Their session was taken at Lake Wilderness Park and Arboretum, we started in the arboretum, walked over to the park and then walked about and finished in the arboretum. I definitely got to capture some great family fun. The Sterling family was so wonderful to work with. This was also their first family photo session in a long time, I'm so honored I was asked to capture their family together.
