This was such a fun session and such a wonderful family and little handsome man to work with and what a head of blond hair he has!
Baby Will's newborn photos were taken at 9 days of age, he actually decided to make his appearance into the world 4 weeks ahead of schedule. He couldn't wait to be in his adoring parents arms! This was a fun session with some great entertainment too. Little Will decided to pee right on me, part of the hazards of working with a naked newborn, but considering I've gotten a lot worse from my own daughter a little pee wasn't any bother. But the first time I have ever been peed on by a child not my own, I however do expect it to happen again. This was such a fun session and such a wonderful family and little handsome man to work with and what a head of blond hair he has! Will's favorite position to be in was this last photo, in his loving mom's arms getting a wonderful kiss. He wanted to be awake most of the session, but being in this last pose made him so content, it was so adorable!

Erin's maternity session ended up being on beautiful clear day, it was really chilly out in the shade, but so perfect! The session was taken at Lake Wilderness Arboretum and we also went to the backside of the lodge to be right on the lake. We had a lot of fun throughout the whole session and I even captured a few laughs of this excited nervous couple expecting their first baby boy. This was a wonderful and fun maternity session. It ended up being timed perfectly because less than 2 weeks after the end of this session baby Will decided he was ready to come early and be in mom and dads arms.
A friend approached me about taking some actor headshots for her. This is my first time taking them and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. We needed so show her as being real but also intriguing, so casting agents would find her photo interesting and give her a call. What a fun session this was. It was all about the expression with the eyes, no distraction with body, clothes or hands, just the face.
2014 Project 52 FavoritesIn the beginning of 2014 I decided to do the photography 52 project through M4H, each week you take a new photo of your representation of that week's theme and post it to the groups page. I actually still haven't taken my final weeks photo, with Christmas and personal stuff going on I was just too overwhelmed to do the final photo. I do plan on finishing the final photo and I'm thinking about continuing another 52 for 2015 as well. I'll have to play a little catch up, but my intentions are to join again. Here are my favorites taken specifically for the week's theme. They are in no particular order besides people, dogs, objects and finishing with nature.
